what ever you're doing have a spooky but good haloween!
Same to you stargate! Here I will be lighting my fireplace for a first of this season as weather is Autumnal cool with our first Bbrrr Ccccccccooooooooollllld frost coming a few nights ago. I figure with the warmth radiating from the fireplace it will help keep the furnace from being continually turned on as we give treats to all the Halloweeners. *heating costs Urrgh!! Usually at least one household of our block will go all out as far as the sPoOkY music and at a noise level that all neighbors are given to partake of the gastly howels!!! Back a few years ago our next door neighbor borrowed “priestly” cloths from the priests where he was a lawn maintenance person. He placed tombstones in his yard and then he with a friend strolled their yard in the cloaks of priestlyness and scarred one poor child into a fit of tears. Over the years the kids have become older and are aged more so in their later teen years. Here we are planning on having pizza, salad and bread stix after the close of the Trick –or- Treat hour. Well, off for now… gotta go lite the fireplace. Have a BoOoOoOoOoOoOoOingly good time!
Happy Halloween to you as well, Stargate, although where you are, it's already passed, but still. *smiles* And Happy Halloween to everyone else. I wish I could go trick-or-treating or something, but I never thought of what to dress up as at all. *disappointed* But so I'm just hanging out at home and may watch a scary movie or something. I think we were supposed to be giving out candy, but I don't know if that has already happened or what, because our block doesn't do that as much anymore. The majority of the children here (including myself) have grown up and so we either stay home or go to haunted houses. Haunted houses are fun too. But I'm just rambling for now, so I'll stop. *smiles* I hope everyone else is having a great Halloween. *smiles*
